Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Insurance Coverage Hub, we want every client to feel confident in their coverage. This policy outlines how cancellations, cooling-off periods, and premium refunds are handled for policies arranged through our advisory service.

1. Our Advisory Service Is Free

Insurance Coverage Hub is an independent insurance quote matching service. Requesting a quote or speaking with one of our advisors is completely free of charge. We do not collect advisory fees from clients for consultations or quote submissions.

2. Policy Cancellation & Premium Refunds

All premium payments, policy terms, and refund eligibility are governed by the issuing insurance carrier. General guidelines include:

• Free Look Period: Most carriers offer a 14 to 30-day free look period from the policy start date. If you cancel within this window and have not filed a claim, you are typically entitled to a full refund of any premiums paid.
• Mid-Term Cancellations: Cancellations after the free look period are generally refunded on a pro-rata or short-rate basis for the unused portion of the policy term, as determined by the carrier.
• Active Claims: If a claim has been filed and paid during the policy term, refund eligibility may be adjusted in accordance with state regulations and your carrier's contract terms.

3. How to Cancel or Make Changes to Your Policy

To cancel a policy, request a coverage change, or ask about a refund, contact our team through any of the following:

4. Refund Processing Time

Once a cancellation is processed by the carrier, approved refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 7 to 14 business days, depending on your financial institution.
